2004-2005 PROVINCIAL TOM LONGBOAT AWARDS FOR MALE & FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE YEAR & COACH OF THE YEAR

MYRACL LTD., in partnership with the national office of the Aboriginal Sport Circle (ASC) is working towards ensuring that we have strong participation in the selection of our Provincial Aboriginal Athletes & Coaches of the Year Awards.

In previous years, we have had strong representation and have had finalists in 2 of the last 5 years with Sarah-Lynne Knockwood capturing the national female athlete of the year award in 2002.

Male Aboriginal Athlete of the Year  
Female Aboriginal Athlete of the Year  
Male Aboriginal Coach of the Year  
Female Aboriginal Coach of the Year  

To nominate an individual for one of these awards, please visit the national website for more information on the process, the awards and how to go through the process of submitting names as well as information on deadlines for regions.

MYRACL LTD.  is now planning an Awards Banquet to be held in Halifax, NS some time in September 2004 to honor these athletes and other volunteers in our communities.
