2004 MYRACL
Sport & Recreation Summit
“ A One Day Brainstorming Session To Help Improve How We Provide Services To
Our Mi’kmaw Communities Across Nova Scotia”...|
WELCOME
You are invited to participate at the upcoming MYRACL Sport & Recreation
Summit that is planned to take place at the Membertou Trade & Convention
Center (MTCC) on Monday, December 20th, 2004 from 10:00am – 5:00pm.
There will be no cost
to attend this session as we are trying to get valuable input from our
membership in our communities. We
are targeting the age groups of 13 years and up and would like to send this open
invitation to students, parents, coaches, volunteers, team managers (all
sports), recreation coordinators/programmers, youth coordinators, school
teachers, principals, directors and any other persons interested in contributing
towards the overall holistic development of our organization.
Also,
that evening, participants of the Sport & Recreation Summit are welcome to
join us (free of charge for participating at the Sport Summit)
while we celebrate the NS Native Fastball Circuit Banquet & Dinner that we
are hosting in the main ballroom upstairs of the MTCC.
Dinner costs for guests that are already members of the teams (as
listed on submitted rosters to MYRACL) will be $5.00 per person at the door.
For all other guests, there will be a $15.00 cover charge at the door.
We will be presenting our Summer Softball League All Stars at this
banquet as well as local musical entertainment and special guest speakers.
